My curl exactly!!

Look at this.... I'm hold ing up a strand of my own hair and a strand of weave.... can't tell can you? Nope...this hair is an exact match of my natural hair... No one can ever tell unless I tell them..it's hilarious. I love it because my hair is very thick but not as full as I would like it to be so sometimes I add in a track or two to "help" me out. I've let alot of black grow in....ALOT... lol. And it's darker than the 1b/30 weave... it's been so long since I've seen my roots in their natural stage that I just didn't even realize my hair is really black...not off black... jet black.. I love it. Thought about dying the rest but kinda feeling this.

    First off, I want to say that I admire your wit and drive. You candidly have offered women a chance to live life through you by exposing yourself and keeping it all the way real. I appreciate you greatly for that.

    Secondly, I'd like to encourage you on your personal journey to great health and self-fulfillment. There's no journey that will be easy and there are no battles that come without a fight. I'm rooting for you this year and I want to let you know that we're all rooting for you to succeed. Always remember to a) stay focused b) stay disciplined c) stay healthy d) and stay true to you. =]

    And about your hair: it is bbbeeaaauuutttiiiffuuullll =] keep up the great work. Your curl pattern is so pretty.

Still Truckin' along

Dang it's been a minute since I've blogged...Over a month. I enjoyed the 5 weeks for structured bootcamp. Something about knowing my exact schedule was exactly what I needed. Her meal plans were easy to follow although I didn't follow them on most days. In the end I didn't lose any weight but I lost 3 inches in my thighs and almost 3 inches in my waist so it was worth it to me. The first week without the camp schedule I was totally lost on what to do.....just winging it. At the job, they have opened up a nice fitness wellness center. It's the place to be right now so very overcrowded. My first experience at the beginners Zumba class was horrible.....she was so uncoordinated and appeared to not know her own routine. Yesterday I attended the Bootcamp Training Class and it was GREAT. We jogged, did squats, planks, mountain climbers, high knees and other things that had me sweating my weave out. I loved it. More DVD's

94 days till I'm the big 4-0...YAH! Every since I realized I was 100 days away I've been trying to get in some exercise. Pulled out my tried and true Shaun T doing Hip Hop Abs and also went way back and dusted off Billy Blanks ugly butt and doing his Fitness Bootcamp (which btw is ugh hard). I looked for my Walk Away the Pounds but the darn disc case was empty...with all the moving there's just no telling what happened to it. So today I decided to buy me another....toughter version....man Leslie Sansone has soooo many WATP videos...but do you notice she still thick in the hips and thighs...been walking all these years...lol. Anyway....I can hardly wait for it to arrive. Even been packing my lunch lately....not everyday but better. And my main thing is I haven't ventured to the plaza level for my all-time favorite PayDay candy bar.... I don't even care for candy much....but I absolutely love peanut M&M's and PayDay candy bar....that salt mixed with sugar is t...

It's OK if you have to Walk Away.

Awww remember when you first met? Remember that teenage giddy feeling...remember how you felt when he first said he loved you or vice versa.... but what if you can no longer remember why you're there in the first place, if it's just not working, how can you stay together? Truly. How? I’m seeing this situation in two very close friends of mine and it makes me look at my own situation and evaluate that I’m in a relationship for the right reasons. Your partner does not have to be abusing you or neglecting you or doing or not doing anything in particular. Relationships end. I realize this is NOT the fairy tale we’re made to believe as a growing princess but relationships are hard work, right?
